CCGSIA is a Virginia‑based workers’ compensation self‑insurance association focused exclusively on the construction industry. Since our founding, our mission has remained simple:
create a stable, cost‑effective, member‑oriented insurance solution built on trust, safety, and long‑term relationships.
Unlike traditional carriers, CCGSIA is governed by its members. Each member company has a voice through a Member Supervisory Board that oversees the Group and ensures decisions are made in the best interest of the membership — not shareholders.
- Members have no direct employees; all administration is handled by Insurance Concepts
- Each Group is overseen by a Member Supervisory Board
- Boards may hire any administrator they choose, all select Insurance Concepts
- Group sizes range from 8 to 800 members
This structure creates accountability, transparency, and consistency which is why retention rates exceed 96% year over year.
